History of Establishment

His Holiness Acharya Tulsi dreamed for a spiritual center in which person without any importance of cast, creed, colour can do the practice for spiritual upliftment. In that center the Sadhaks with peace and co-operation between them can develop the art of living on practical basis.

To feel peace in life, free from tension by controlling their anger, greed, ego, and deceit.



Human being can stay healthy, when they do some physical work. In this present age most of the people do not do any physical work or they do not get time to do it. Due to the advancement in technology, during the last fifty years, the labour of doing daily household chores has been reduced to great extent.


Asana means body postures. There are hundreds of Asanas as there are hundreds of body postures. Originally yoga Asanas was practiced as one of the training in meditation (dhyana), to maintain the stability of both the body and mind. It is actually the discipline of having right posture of the body.


Pranayama plays an important role in practice of yoga. There is a close relation exists between Prana and the mind. Prana exists on all the places of manifestation. It is the connecting link between matter and energy on the one hand and consciousness and mind on the other.


This Preksha technique originated almost 30 years ago in India with the blessings of two great Saints: Ganadhipati Gurudev Sri Tulsi and Acharya Sri Mahapragya. Today it is widely practiced in India and abroad. The two great saints have truly blessed the entire human race with the boon of Preksha Meditation.


Kayotsarga is the first step in the practice of Preksha Meditation. The whole body is relaxed and muscular tension eliminated. The main object of this kayotsarga is to be feeling free from all tensions and feel the self (soul) in the body but different from his body. By this practice the aspirant develops the intuition.


It is a technique developed and practiced only in this system of meditation. The aspirant in the state of Kayotsarga repeats the aphorism and the wordings of the object one wants to bring in one’s life. There are contemplations to change.


We have heard of Yama & Niyama in the yoga literature, which are for the ascetic who has renounced the world and mainly engaged oneself for self realization. So, there is no guidance for the householder upto what extent they will follow the Yamas-Ahimsa (non-violence), Satya (Truth), Achaurya (Non-stealing), Brahmacharya (celebasy), and Aparigrah (Non-possession and non-attachment).
