This past Thursday marked India's Independence Day! As we celebrate, JAINA would like to acknowledge Virchand Raghavji Gandhi, a pioneer in bringing Jainism to the West.
But who was V.R. Gandhi? How did he bring Jainism to the West? How was his practice of Jainism reflected in his social justice work? JASI offers U.S. & Canadian undergraduate and graduate students the chance to work on a variety of projects with an established international non-profit in a start-up based environment.

A collaboration between JAINA and the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), this project offers an Emblem Awards Program which offers eligible Boy Scouts the opportunity to earn special pins recognizing their Jain values and BSA principles.
